HATS: RolePlay by Alan Ayckbourn

Horndean Amateur Theatrical Society’s next production is RolePlay by Alan Ayckbourn.

“Justin and Julie-Ann are a couple sharing a London Docklands apartment. They have invited their respective parents (Justin’s upper crust alcoholic mother and Julie-Ann’s bigoted Yorkshire father and prim mother) for dinner so that they can announce their engagement. However their carefully-planned evening is interrupted when an upstairs neighbour drops in (quite literally) onto their balcony whilst trying to escape her violent boyfriend. Her arrival, followed by that of her thuggish minder, send events spinning in a very different direction from those intended.”

The performances which will take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 1, 2, 3 July 2015 in Merchistoun Hall, Horndean. The performances start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 and are available on the door or can be reserved by phoning 023 9278 5800. See our website www.horndeanamdram.com.
