February half term – Dinosaur week!
Mon 13th- Fri 17th Feb Learn about dinosaurs, quiz, design and create your own dinosaur competition, dinosaur craft, perform for your very own dinosaur film!
Easter Half term – An 8 day Sherlock Holmes special!
Week 1: Mon 2nd – Thurs 5th April
Week 2: Tues 10th – Fri 13th April
Become a young detective and solves crimes, puzzles and mysteries. Also includes Easter arts and crafts and an Easter egg hunt!
June half term – A 3 day diamond jubilee special!
Wed 6th – Fri 8th June Create decorations for Friday’s tea party, patriotic arts and craft, rewrite the national anthem, Queen music challenge.
Summer 2012 – 6 weeks!
Week 1: Wed 25th – Fri 27th July – Superheroes!
A 3 day week looking at the history and mythology of superheroes!
Create your own character, learn how to create your own comic book, costume making.
Week 2: Mon 30th July – Fri 3rd August – Video games
Looking at the history of video games, design your own game, teamwork challenges.
Week 3: Mon 6th – Fri 10th August – Film week
A look at how films are created! Learn how to make your own film from script to screen!
Week 4: Mon 13th – Fri 17th August – Puppets
A look at how puppets have been used over the centuries. Create your very own puppet and learn the art of puppetry.
Week 5: Mon 20th – Fri 24th August – Olympics
Celebrating the Olympics with team challenges and sport related activities.
Week 6: Tues 28th – Fri 31st August – Christmas comes early to Merchistoun!

October half term – Halloween special!
