Community Matters launched in Waitrose branches in 2008 – Waitrose branches select three local causes a month to receive a share of a £1,000  donation.  Shoppers receive a green token at the checkout which they place into the three labelled boxes at the store exit.  At the end of the month, each cause is given a share of the donation proportional to the number of green tokens they receive.

We hope that during your visits to Waitrose Waterlooville during May that at the conclusion on your shopping you select Merchistoun Hall/Horndean Community Association as the recipient of your green tokens.

With famous quotes from playwrights and performers to a hand print wall for the younger children and a yet to be decided mural we hope that with your help we can cheer the backstage up!

If you have any left over paint you don’t want please bring with you. Please bring brushes & wear old clothes.

We are giving up our Sunday to help make a huge difference to the theatre space that we know and love and for those who hire it. After the BIG clear out we hope in the not too distant future that we can give it a lick of paint and make it the vibrant happy theatre space it was again!
