At Merchistoun Hall the majority of what we do is made possible by our valuable team of Volunteers.
Our Volunteers come from all walks of life, have a diverse background and age from those just starting out in life to those that have many years experience.
We have a number of different roles available at Merchistoun Hall, what is displayed is just a flavour of what we have to offer.
- Volunteer Receptionists
- our Receptionist Team are the folks you first meet when visiting or calling Merchistoun Hall. For an outline of their role please click here.
- Volunteer Specialists
- we also recruit Volunteers who are able to assist Merchistoun Hall in a specialist areas. Perhaps you are retired and have a skill that you feel could be used at Merchistoun Hall. Whether you are a Accountant, Decorator, Joiner, Project Manager or Solicitor – we would like to hear from you.
- Trustees
- Merchistoun Hall is run by Horndean Community Association which is a registered Charity. Our Trustees oversee the running of the Charity. For a Trustee Introduction Pack please click here.

- Volunteers to the Pre-School
- our Mum’s and Dad’s are supportive of our Merchistoun Minnows Pre-School and assist us in both a formal and ad hoc basis.
