Falconry courses for beginners – a no-frills down to earth approach to the taming, training, flying and welfare care of hawks and falcons is now available at Merchistoun Hall. The Hawkshop is now resident in the grounds of Merchistoun Hall and opens as a regular feature from Saturday 30th July 2011 and runs on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. A variety of Birds of Prey will be on display, flying demonstrations will also be given – the public can to get up close to these beautiful birds whilst under the expect supervision of The Hawkshop.
